I call this piece Moonlight Sonata. While working on it I felt that it was a deep dark, moonlit night with two horses, a stallion and his mare, that ran as one across the prairie. The mare, a deep blood bay and her stallion, a lightly dappled grey, run shoulder to shoulder, enjoying the night. This is a large 6" x 6" medallion, with the back finished in matte black.
Painted with artist quality acrylics and sealed in a UV protecting matte clearcoat sealant.
